Champion uses a cutter or turning auger with tiny blades to chop up the produce that is fed into it. The motor on a Champion turns at 1725 RPM so your juice comes out rather quickly. This is excellent for juicing hard vegetables, making delicious frozen fruit ice cream, processing nut butters, etc. However, when it comes to juicing wheatgrass and leafy greens, it can prove to be more challenging. The type of auger and the speed of the juicer will not give you the best results. This is where the Wheatgrass Attachment comes in! With Champion’s new innovation, you can now use your traditional Champion Juicer even to juice wheatgrass and leafy greens.
